Nice shots! You should see Malta. So many cars there are vintage, and they all seem to have reg plates that form names (BUB, ALF, DON, OLD, etc). It is most enjoyable to the easily pleased.
Well, you’d f’ing hate it if you’d had to drive it! 😉 I did, the 1965 N.A. version anyway. 225 cu.in. slant 6. Bulletproof engine, which meant you kept driving the thing long after you wanted to. Some sort of torsion rod front suspension that…. wallowed…. around corners with significant understeer. Drum brakes too small for the car (I almost broke the seat off the floor trying to get stopped coming down a long hill on a cold winter day). And the front rims flexed, causing a peculiar tick/ping sound from the front hubcaps that announced your arrival.
On the positive side… when the bottom end bearings started to wear around 200,000 km, the engine made mechanical sounds like a 911 Porsche. At least when you revved it further than you should have!

I learned how to drive in ’72 Newport, I was only 4′ 11″ at the time. I couldn’t reach the pedals or see over the dash without a little boost.

i shot these digital (which i try stay away from on this blog) and in photoshop i manually colour graded them and then added grain.
i try to keep to a 3-5 minute time limit when editing so they don’t stray too far from reality.
